Low Cost Therapy

Interns have completed all the coursework necessary to become a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and are in the final phase of their training.

Working with an intern is an opportunity to receive weekly therapy at a reduced cost of $45 per session while benefiting from the combined care of your therapist and myself as their supervisor.

Interns bring fresh training, passion, attentiveness, and genuine care. With smaller caseloads, they have more time and energy to devote to each client, and they are actively integrating new approaches while drawing on their own life experience and insight.

Sessions are available online to clients in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Washington State. Bahareh can also see clients in Ontario. See profiles below and contact your intern therapist directly.

Please note: Intern sessions are not eligible for reimbursement from insurance. Interns cannot work with clients experiencing severe mental illness, active addiction, recent suicide attempts, significant eating disorders, trauma therapy requiring specialized training, or court-mandated therapy.

Garrett Rokosh

I support clients with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, addiction, communication struggles, relationship difficulties, grief, spirituality, lifestyle transitions, and questions of meaning and purpose. I see couples as well as individual adults and teens.

My counselling approach is integrative, drawing from person-centered, systems-based, trauma-informed, somatic, solution-focused, and nature-based therapies. I offer a compassionate space to explore the cultural and relational systems that have shaped you, deepen your moment-to-moment somatic and emotional awareness, and engage with the many parts of your inner world in ways that support greater clarity, self-understanding, and healing.

My approach is further shaped by my training with Dr. Gabor Maté in Compassionate Inquiry, my two-year immersion in deep nature connection and cultural repair through Wisdom of the Earth Wilderness School, and my work as a facilitator and instructor in conscious communication and relational skills with Circling Canada. Do you feel disconnected, stuck in unwanted patterns, or growing distant in your intimate relationships? Maybe you find yourself struggling with self-criticism, grief, or shame. If so, you are not alone. I work with individuals and couples navigating various relational dynamics, intimacy challenges, infidelity, and experiences that impact self-worth and identity. I also support those struggling with body image, sexuality, and chronic pain. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity, creating a warm and non-judgmental space where complexity and vulnerability are welcome.

As a professional theatre actor of 20+ years, I have extensive experience in embodiment and emotional attunement. Together, we’ll explore the beliefs shaping your internal world, helping you move from self-doubt and survival patterns into clarity, confidence, and more fulfilling relationships.

Based in BC, I currently offer virtual sessions. No matter what brings you to therapy, we will approach each session through a mind-body lens, supporting you to gain greater self-awareness, self-trust, and understanding. If you’re curious to learn more, I invite you to book a free 15 minute consultation.
